I am going to be making two counterbalance looms a 12" two
harness/shaft table loom
and a 4 harness/shaft 4 treadle floor loom. The floor loom is portable
with a removable base.
I will be using my stepfathers design see Lorellyn
Weavers History.
His design was different in that it was simple yet strong and he used
hardwood for the construction. His looms looked like furniture, stained
or oiled to match your furniture in the room. He used popular,
mahogany and red oak.
